2. Getting in touch
We use the information you provide in the enquiry form to respond to your request about our services and discuss working together.
Data processed: your name, email address, chosen service, in-person or online preference, message and optional telephone number. We also record the submission time and identifier, the version of the privacy notice you acknowledged, and the notification’s delivery status.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Retention: We keep your website enquiry for 180 days from submission. Separate information applies to any subsequent service agreement and invoicing records.
We cannot process the enquiry without the required fields. Providing a telephone number is optional. Please do not include a diagnosis or other health details in your message. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to app notifications.
3. App launch notifications
You can request an app launch notification separately. We record your email address, optional platform preference, the time of your consent and the version of the consent wording, so we can let you know when the FatiFood app launches.
Legal basis: your freely given consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Retention: Until you withdraw consent, and for no longer than 730 days from signing up. We delete waiting-list data within 30 days of sending the app launch notification.
To withdraw your subscription, email info@fatifood.hu, preferably from the address you used to sign up.
4. Technical operation and service providers
Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, database, security protection and email forwarding. The D1 database used to store form submissions operates in the EU. Cloudflare may process your IP address and technical browser information for Turnstile spam checks. Our own submission limit uses an identifier derived from the IP address that changes every hour; we do not write raw IP addresses to the enquiry database. Expired rate-limit identifiers are removed during the next check.
Technical security processing helps prevent abuse and keep the service available. Its legal basis is our legitimate interest in these purposes under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.): delivery of the enquiry notification email, which contains the information submitted in the enquiry. Sending takes place from Ireland; Resend account data, email metadata and logs are stored in the United States. Joining the app waiting list does not itself send an email through Resend.
Google / Gmail: Cloudflare forwards messages addressed to info@fatifood.hu to the operator’s Gmail inbox. Google’s privacy terms also apply to the handling of those emails. We apply the enquiry retention period to copies of notification emails as well.
The operator handling your request and the providers needed to run the service have access to the data. International providers may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Their applicable transfer arrangements include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. The safeguards and detailed provider information are available here: Cloudflare data processing terms, Resend data processing terms and Google privacy policy.
5. Cookies, analytics and external websites
This website does not use advertising or marketing tracking code. Cloudflare Web Analytics is not currently enabled. Cloudflare Turnstile provides spam protection; you can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Instagram and Facebook appear as links, without embedded social content. After following a link, the respective provider’s privacy terms apply.
6. Your rights and complaints
You can request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Where the legal conditions are met, you can also request data portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw your consent to app notifications at any time.
Contact info@fatifood.hu to make a request. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If a legally permitted extension is needed, we will explain the reason. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity where necessary. We do not carry out automated individual decision-making or profiling.
You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) and seek a judicial remedy.
The general rules and detailed rights are set out in the official text of the GDPR.
